DPS Elite Troupe Dance in Melbourne

“Melbourne was a fantastic experience and a memory that will be kept forever. We had so many opportunities that not everyone has the chance to experience. We went to the Australian Ballet and watched them do a ballet class with a Q&A afterwards as well as a photo opportunity and autographs. It was one great experience!
We also went to Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance for two days. We caught the tram there and back which was an experience in itself. We had the opportunity to be taught many different classes, such as Commercial Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre and the opportunity of talking to Jason himself and having a group photo with him.
We had a pizza night in one night with our mums, which was themed ‘Hawaiian’. This night was filled with lots of fun, games and trivia.
For some fun along the way, we had a photo scavenger hunt where we had to take certain photos of many different scenarios involving dance and using our imagination. The teams were allocated from our room groups and we all had different names. Yes it was a competition which made it lots and lots of fun but there can only be one winner which was team arabesque.hmt which was Holly, Mia & Tash.
Without the teachers and parents involvement the Melbourne Tour wouldn’t have happened. It was so good to have spent this quality time with my dance friends, teachers and my mum. I would just like to thank Miss Cassie, Miss Elise and Wendy for organising such a fantastic tour and thank you for all you help. I would also like to thank the parents for sharing this special time away.”
