DANCE POINTE STUDIOS TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT
Please carefully read through our DPS Terms & Conditions before signing and returning this enrolment form to the office.
- Students enrolled, are enrolled until the end of the current year.
- Fees are invoiced before the commencement of each term and must be paid prior to the start of your child’s classes. $25.00 late fee will be applied to all invoices paid after the due date.
- Prompt payment is appreciated. Any problems with payment please contact the office to make alternate arrangements.
- All dance classes are charged per term & payable Week 1 of Term.
- There are no Rebates for classes missed. Students are given the opportunity to do a make-up class within the same term.
- If your child’s fees remain outstanding by the end of the term your child will not be able to commence classes the following term.
- DPS have the right to refuse admission to any students whose fees remain unpaid.
- If your child has chosen a dance style not suitable for them, you have the option to transfer to another style of dance.
- Payments can be made via Internet banking or Cash. Cash payments need to be in a sealed envelope with child’s name and class clearly marked on the front and handed to class teacher.
- In conjunction with The Royal Academy of Dance, we recommend that all graded ballet students wishing to take their ballet exams are required to attend 2 ballet classes per week to attain the standard required for their examination or class award. Intermediate Foundation – Advanced are required to attend 3 classes per week.
- RAD Classical Ballet exams will take place in April 2026.
- Students will be entered for their exams when they are ready & confident with their set syllabus.
- As dance is a physical activity, a degree of physical contact between the teacher & student may be required for correction or demonstration.
- Parents and students are reminded they must be punctual to class and are to be dressed in full dance uniform with hair neatly done. Ballet bun is compulsory for Classical ballet class.
- All uniform requirements are available from Spangles Dancewear Dee Why or BLOCH Westfield Brookvale.
- Our 2026 Timetable is subject to change. Parents & Students enrolled will be notified via email.
- It is compulsory that all performance class students attend every lesson. Those who fail to comply without valid reason may not be able to continue with the class if 2 or more lessons are missed.
- Performance Class students enrolling must attach a Performance Class contract to this form for it to be processed.
- COVID-19 INFORMATION - No parents are allowed to enter the dance studios. Please wait in the waiting room.
- All Parents & students (over the age of 12) must sign in using the QR code provided at the entry of the studios on arrival.
- Any child who has a runny nose, cough, temperature or any COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed to enter the studios.
ANNUAL PRODUCTION INFORMATION AND COSTUME HIRE
Dance Pointe Studios put on an Annual Production in November at Glen Street Theatre, Belrose. It is compulsory that all enrolled students attend the performance and all scheduled rehearsals (Baby classes excluded). A Hire Fee will be added to your Term 3 invoice for costume hire for the annual production. Costumes will not be issued until all fees and costume hire fees have been paid up to date. Throughout Term 4, classes will be structured around all students who are participating in the concert. This means some classes may be interrupted with costume fittings, music screening and rehearsals. There is no additional payment for rehearsals.
